Mila Jovovich never fails to update her fans about 'Resident Evil: The Final Chapter' as she recently posted a selfie of an aged Alice. There are a lot of speculations surrounding an 'Old Alice' plot and it has been reported that the story will go back to Racoon City where everything began.
Lead Actress Mila Jovovich recently posted on her Instagram account an 'Old Alice' photo stating that the makeup and prosthetics were for the scenes they were going to shoot that day. On her comment, she stated, "I will post more pics of the process later! Plus a sexy selfie(not for the weak of heart!) btw, for all those who think this look is for the end of the movie, it's not!"
This could only mean the old version of her character is not meant for an ending scene. Fans are speculating there could be advanced aging involved in the storyline. According to Latinos Post, Alice could have prematurely aged due to the experiments that she went through in the previous movies which may be a bit similar with the plot of the video game "Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots," where the lead character Solid Snake has aged faster than normal.
The report also speculates that there might be some flashbacks in the upcoming film if indeed the 'Old Alice' is not meant for the ending scenes. Fans need not worry though about seeing an old Mila Jovovich in the entire movie as she can be seen in her battle gear after she shared more of her photos on set.
Yibada reports that "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" will feature the return of Alice to Racoon City where the biological hazard started. It would be a fitting end to the story and it only makes sense that the Red Queen, the artificial intelligence running the remnants of the Umbrella Organization could be headquartered. It can be recalled from the previous installment, "Resident Evil: Retribution," that the corporation has been gathering its forces to completely eliminate the last survivors of the human race who are currently stationed in what's left of the White House.
Other actors reprising their roles are Ali Larter, Shawn Roberts, and Sienna Guillory. Set to join the cast are Eoin Macken, Joon-Gi Lee, Lain Glen, William Levy,Macken, and Ruby Rose.
Paul W.S. Anderson also returns to helm the film. "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter," is scheduled to premiere in theaters on Jan. 27, 2017.
