The holiday festivities has begun in the Young & Hungry Season 2 entitled Young & Christmas featuring Jackee Harry as the estranged Jolanda. The Young & Hungry Season 3 will follow on Freeform next year with viewers finally see Gabi and Josh together. Or not.

The finale for Young and Hungry Season 2 concluded with Gabi Diamond (Emily Osment) and boss' little brother Jake (Jayson Blair) on a food truck venture in Coachella, thanks to the boss Josh Kaminski (Jonathan Sadowski) who sent them away together. According to Bustle, the team #Josh will not see the two being together especially Gabi and Jake are currently tied up together in the food truck business. But if the truck business gets crazy, Season 3 may get Gabi running back to Josh since Jake is somewhat a match for disaster.

In the spirit of Christmas, Young & Hungry aired the very first Christmas Special for the series Young & Christmas. The nosiness of Gabi had convinced Sodia Rodiguez (Aimee Carrero) and Yolanda (Kym Whitley) to reconnect with Yolanda's sister Jolanda featuring actress Jackee Harry.

The good motive of the reunion of the sisters did not go well for both of them. Jolanda had been keeping secrets from Yolanda and spilling it may even more damage her relationship with her, Hidden Remote shared. However, the two straightened things out at Josh's apartment before the special ended.

Yibada also summarized that the trio friends Gabi, Yolanda, and Sofia spent time helping a soup kitchen as volunteers for a homeless shelter. Sofia received a discount from a mall due to the store clerk's error. Josh tried to cheer up newlywed but alone in the holidays Elliot Park (Rex Lee) in the Young & Christmas.

The Young & Christmas was outside the timeline of the regular Young & Hungry series aired last 24 November 2015.Young & Hungry Season 3 will air on 3 February 2016 on Freeform.
