The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium device is hitting up the Android 6.0 Marshmallow upgrade next year. The killer flagship device of Sony has been reported to get the upgrade first in all of its smartphones and tablets.

Sony has already confirmed the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its devices since October and Xperia Z5 Premium will be getting it first. The official software will come over the air through push notifications.

As often headlined the cream of the crop among Google's software, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow build, is promised to put into the finest zone, the Xperia Z5 Premium, by way of new features and functionalities.

Sony Xperia Z5 smartphone is the Japanese giant's 2015 flagship device first launched in October. It boasts a 5.5-inch display made of IPS LCD. Meanwhile, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow software will bring in new key features and varying supports, including mobile payments, fingerprint and the USB Type-C.

With Android Pay, Marshmallow brings this app to a whole new level, contracting additional mobile payment methods for a more comprehensive wireless and paperless purchase experience. Google includes Master Card, Visa, American Express, Discover and Google Pay on its list.

To support this app, fingerprint comes into the scene. Marshmallow offers a unified support for purchases, phone unlock, and real-life and online shopping.

Lastly, the USB Type-C support is a notable and impressive import from Apple. This new cable supports almost all types of ports for charging tablets, phones and PCs. It can also be used on transference of data between devices.
