Minecraft Story Mode: Episode 3, Now Released On PC, Xbox One and XBox 360

By

Telltale Games and Mojang have been working hard on the Minecraft: Story Mode - Episode 3: The Last Place, and it seems that this new episode is finally released for public enjoyment, both the PC, as well as Xbox One and Xbox 360 editions. To those out of the loop, Minecraft: Story Mode is an ongoing episodic point-and-click adventure game based on the popular blocky sandbox game Minecraft, released in October 2015 across multiple platforms with a PlayStation Vita and Wii U release arriving at a later date. The game is being developed in collaboration by Mojang AB, the developers of Minecraft, and Telltale Games, which is known for producing titles such as The Walking Dead , Tales of Monkey Island and three game titles under the Sam & Max franchise. Much like with the other Telltale Games titles, Minecraft: Story Mode follows an interactive episodic format where the player's choices affect the gameplay and story as the plot advances.

The events of Minecraft: Story Mode Episode 3 pick up right where the previous chapter ended, with Jesse and friends running out of time while trying to gather the entirety of the Order of the Stone to defeat the Witherstorm that already claimed two others. Soren the Architect, the missing leader of the Order, is the final member they need to find, and with the Witherstorm on their tails, this is easier said than done.

The standalone chapter release of Minecraft: Story Mode - Episode 3: The Last Place You Look costs $4.99 and takes up about 1.09 GB of space. In order to play it, at least having Episode 1: The Order of the Stone, which is also at $4.99 is required. Players who bought the Story Mode Season Pass, worth $24.99 on PC and $29.99 for the retail disk version for Xbox, do not need to purchase the titles as they are already included there, and you can download all the episodes when they are released.
