Colt and Luke will encounter some issues while on tour while Scarlett comes home to Nashville to surprise Caleb.

According to International Business Times, Rayna (Connie Britton) and Deacon (Charles Esten) will face another problem when Markus (Riley Smith) causes trouble for her when he scraps a song on his new album one week before its release. Deacon has definitely got some issues with the new artist and makes it clear to Rayna that Markus only wants to sleep with her.

Colt (Keean Johnson) is still on tour with his father Luke (Will Chase) and he attempts to reconcile with his son. It's clear however that Colt is not going to accept his father's apology and it will take more time for them to settle their issues. Struggling with their long distance relationship, Scarlett (Clare Bowen) will return to Nashville to surprise Caleb [Nick Jandl when she gets time off on her tour.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the ABC drama has cast Jessy Schram in a major recurring role. According to TV Line, Schram will play Cash Gray, a singer songwriter who is just starting to come into her own, having co-written a few songs with Kacey Musgraves. She has recently re-connected with her formerly alcoholic and estranged musician father (and Deacon's sponsor), Frankie. Rumor has it that Cash will eventually cross paths with Rayna and that it may cause friction. Schram played the role of Ella in another hit TV series, Once Upon A Time.

In another story, rumors have surfaced that Nashville may not be renewed after the fourth season. According to TV by the Numbers, Nashville ended the fall season as ABC's third lowest-rated series following Wicked City and Blood & Oil. The current rankings show that it is at 1.08 in the 18-49 rating with 0.64 renew/cancel index and the show is included in the list of possible shows to be cancelled come 2016.
