The American television legal and political drama series The Good Wife is about to end its seventh season with the final episode for winter called KSR. The blossoming relationship of Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) and Jason Crouse (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) may soon end as Ruth Eastman (Margo Martindale) come between the two. The show's low ratings can lead to the cancellation of the show.

The final installment for the year of The Good Wife Season 7 Episode 10 entails an imminent disintegration of newly developing relationship between Alicia and Jason. In the International Business Times website, spoilers spilled that upon noticing the undeniable romantic (even sexual) tension between the two by Ruth during the last episode, Ruth became worried.

The campaign manager working for Alicia's ex-husband Peter Florrick (Chris Noth) concluded that the chemistry may negatively affect their campaign and her ambitions. Ruth plays the devil's advocate to Eli Gold (Alan Cumming) who was convinced and the two conspire against Jason. Christian Today reported that Ruth will request millionaire businesswoman Courtney Paige (Vanessa Williams) to set up a fictitious position in her company to entice Jason to a better job and away from Alicia.

However, the current viewership ratings as released by TV By The Numbers, the CBS scripted show only faired 1.06 among 18 - 49 audience category as of 29 November. The renew or cancel index as indicated by the website is the low of 0.66.The show The Good Wife rates second to the lowest of all CBS shows. This possibly indicate a cancellation if the network will solely base cancellations/renewals on ratings. However, as of the moment, there are still no confirmations yet.
