Dancing with the Stars (DWTS) dancer, and choreographer Derek Hough hinted that his sixth mirrorball trophy might be his last. According to E! News, when asked if Hough would still be up for another DWTS season, Hough said that he is satisfied with his achievements in the show.
"I have to say this isn't a bad way to go out," Hough said as he talked about his current win and leaving DWTS.
Hough won the trophy in the 21st season of DWTS with his celebrity partner Bindi Irwin. The pair bagged a perfect score of 30 after they performed a dance that put the crowd teary-eyed.
"I know I gave my best for her and we did our best. The win just made everything so much sweeter. It was the perfect ending to a perfect season," Hough said.
Throughout the season he, has been very vocal with his fondness for his partner, because according to him, Irwin adds a breath of fresh air into the show.
As reported by Latin Post, Hough wants to take a vacation. He wants to recover from all the stress before moving on to his next project.
"Next for me is vacation! I am exhausted and I just want to unwind!" Hough said. "I'm still under the weather, so I'm going to take a few days off to recover before I even think about doing anything else or my next project."
However, DWTS judge Len Goodman confirmed on the finale of the show that Hough will be returning for the next season, Enstars reports.
It seems that this isn't the first time that Hough has been having second thoughts in leaving the hit dancing show. According to E! News, Hough was reluctant in entering the 20th season of DWTS, but decided to join the cast at the last minute.
