Xbox One Elite Controller Has a Good Problem

By

The Xbox One Elite Controller has become a huge hit in the gaming world, but gamers will be disappointed to know that the customisable gaming console controller is running out of stocks.

Xbox’s Phil Spencer took to Twitter apologies to the Xbox world for the dwindling stocks of the console’s controller worldwide, says Latin Post. While Xbox has promised that more stocks will be coming soon, gamers continue to scour online and brick and mortar stores for the Elite Controller.

Early last month, Microsoft announced the release of the $150 Xbox One Elite Controller and would be delivered out on a weekly basis throughout November, but supplies will be limited until December, VG 24/7 reports.

For the time being, it seems like some third-party sellers are offering the controller through Amazon for a high mark-up, going up for prices as high as $266.99 for the controller, says WCCF Tech. Newegg has no stocks and the expected time of arrival will be on December 21, 2015.

The Xbox One Elite Controller sports a premium sharp black look that makes it look more professional and sleek. The metal thumbtacks and D-pads provide for a more personalised control and ergonomics for users. The hair trigger locks also give a faster firing mechanism and gives a pull back providing speed in each trigger pull.

Every box of the Elite controller comes with:

  • Xbox Elite Wireless Controller
  • Carrying case
  • Set of 4 paddles
  • Set of 6 thumbsticks: standard (2), tall (2), and domed (2)
  • Set of 2 D-pads: faceted and standard
  • USB cable
  • AA batteries
  • Quick Setup Guide and Product Manual

Although the Xbox One Elite Controller sold separately and is running low on stocks, the full set of the Xbox One Elite is not. Those who badly want the controller can opt to buy the whole set including an elite Xbox One with a sleeker look and 1 TB for $500.
