Chris Brown and ex-girlfriend, Rihanna, recently got reunited in doing a collaboration on a new song. However, contrary to their fans beliefs, this does not necessarily mean that the two are going to rekindle an old flame.
After the couple's break-up, they have both admitted that they still care for each other despite the differences they acquired while in a relationship. Just recently, the former couple did a song collaboration that was part of Brown's newly released album. According to International Business Times, the 26-year-old surprised his fans by releasing a new song wherein he collaborated with ex-girlfriend, Rihanna. The song talked about looking for love in all the wrong places. The song is entitled, "Counterfeit", which is featured in Brown's "Before the Party" mixed tape. The lyrics included "I keep looking for love, can't find it in a party, in a whole room full of bodies. I keep looking for love, dying over diamonds."
It was reported that the track was recorded long ago, but it wasn't specified how long ago it was after the couple's split. Rihanna has now been hanging out with Travis Scott just recently, but according to Headlines and Global News, she still follows Brown's every move as his actions still warm her heart. Rihanna has been missing Brown a lot but she is still getting much closer with Scott. Perhaps the feelings for Brown will always be there but she just might be ready to move on already.
Aside from Rihanna, Brown has been hitting the controversies with another ex-girlfriend, Karrueche Tran. The singer also allegedly made a song that is featured in his new album that is about Karreuche, as reported by Design and Trend. This song talks about how he cheated on a girlfriend and loved both of them. His fans were quick to assume it was his love triangle with both his exes.
Though Brown has not confirmed any rekindled flame with either of his exes, he certainly still feels strongly about them. He admits to still have cared for them despite not being together anymore.
