Along with the many posts of Facebook about babies, Facebook's founder adds to that list. Mark Zuckerberg and his wife Priscilla Chan recently welcomed their baby girl last week, Maxima Chan Zuckerberg.
Back in July, the couple Priscilla Chan and Mark Zuckerberg, initially announced the pregnancy. Just recently, the couple announced on Facebook the birth of their little girl whom they named Maxima Chan Zuckerberg. According The Guardian, Mark announced the birth in a form of an open letter that he posted, which he addressed to his daughter. In the letter, he described the hope she has given the couple for the future. "While headlines often focus on what's wrong, in many ways the world is getting better," Zuckerberg stated in his open letter. He also believes that the society today is now obligated to invest in the improvisation of the lives of the ones coming in to the world.
CNN reports that the couple also decided to donate 99% of their Facebook stock to promote equality and the human potential. The organization is not structured as a charity, but as a limited-liability corporation (LLC) with only charitable aims. Zuckerberg also announced to the world through his Facebook account that he would take two months of paternity leave, which is very surprising given that he is the CEO of a highly acquired company.
The 31-year-old founder of Facebook and his 30-year-old wife, Priscilla Chan, have not been having an easy battle when it comes to their family life and their desire to have children. The couple suffered three miscarriages in their lives since they started trying to have kids, as reported by Hollywood Life. The coupe welcomed baby Maxima on December 1, 2015 in the world of Facebook by having her wrapped in the arms of the new parents.
Mark Zuckerberg proved to the world that no matter how high-profile a person may be, one can still go through a lot of battles in life. He and his wife proudly give hope to others at the birth of their baby girl.
