Vivo has just revealed its two new latest smartphones, the VIVO X6 and the VIVO X6 Plus at the Beijing National Aquatics Center. These phones are said to boast solid specs, metal bodies, and Super AMOLED displays.
According to Gizchina, the Vivo X6 comes smaller than the VIVO X6 Plus. This smaller handset comes in 5.2-inch 1920 x 1080 AMOLED display and slim 6.56mm body. It is strange that the 64bit 1.7Ghz Mediatek MT6752 has been opted by Vivo to be its X6 processor. Nevertheless, this is still considered as quite good news since the Snapdragon 615 that was employed to the X5 Pro was badly boosted. Yet, it is still questionable if why the company have chosen the MT6752 since even the Redmi Range has already employed the Helio X10 on board.
The Vivo X6 is being powered by 1.7GHz octa-core MediaTek MT6752 processor while being backed by 4GB of RAM. In addition, it comes equipped with 32GB of internal storage which can be increased up to 128GB through a microSD card, NDTV Gadgets wrote.
For the camera configuration, the Vivo X6 sports a 13-megapixel for its back snapper and an 8-megapixel for its selfie-camera. It is bundled with a 2400mAh non removable battery and runs on Android 5.1.
This new Vivo phone also supports connectivity features including, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). The Proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Accelerometer, as well as the Gyroscope are included on the Sensors of the phone.
In a separate report from Android Authority, it says that the latest Vivo X6 is a Dual SIM smartphone that supports 4G LTE. Its weight comes in 135 grams and measuring 147.9 x 73.8 x 6.6 mm.
As for the price, since Vivo is known for usually manufacturing high-end phones, the price tags of these new smartphones are expectedly higher compared to most other devices. The Vivo X6 can be bought at a cost of $390 and the larger X6 Plus is available at $469.
