It looks like it will take a while before this scandalous Hollywood drama starring Charlie Sheen dies down.
A few days ago, former adult star, Brett Rossi, takes legal action against the "Two And A Half Men" actor, after the latter backed out from an out-of-court settlement.
Rossi, whose real name is Scottine Ross, filed the lawsuit on Dec. 3 claiming she's no longer scared of Sheen and is eager to force him the responsibility of causing her emotional distress. As noted by Entertainment Weekly, lawyers of the adult film actress reported that Sheen previously conferred with Rossi promising to pay $1 million plus 5 percent of his back end participation points from "Anger Management." However, Sheen backed out from this deal following his big reveal on the Today show.
"Mr. Sheen made it clear on The Today Show that he had no intention of honoring the agreement reached, and sure enough, he didn't. Ms. Ross looks forward to her day in court, and to taking Mr. Sheen's deposition," as stated by Rossi's attorney David M. Ring of Taylor & Ring in Los Angeles, as cited by L.A. Times.
Rossi is suing Sheen for assault, battery, intentional infliction of emotional distress, false imprisonment and negligence as per her court documents reveal. She also discloses that although she shared a consensual intimacy with Sheen, he later became uncontrollably violent and abusive. Moreover, Rossi states they had unprotected sex at least five times before he confessed to being HIV positive.
To this, Charlie Sheen is ready to go all out against lawsuit filed by his ex-girlfriend and the defendant's team is more than ready to secure and win the legal battle.
"We are confident that Mr. Sheen will prevail in this action and also will recover significant damages against her in connection with a pending arbitration that was commenced months ago." The actor's attorney, Martin Singer said, as reported by People.
So while Rossi initially agreed to a private settlement, the adult star decided to blow up Sheen's infamous ordeals by ending things legally. Sheen on the other hand is ready to face this legal battle and remains firm to not pay his 'extortionists' any further.
