Techland's Dying Light: The Following has been waited on for a rather long period-but has now received its share of a release date worth remembering. Gamers that have stayed true to the franchise are bound to get more than the expected as developments are rigidly created for a more worthwhile experience.
According to Destructoid, after the success of the original Dying Light, the much-anticipated downloadable content update and expansion, The Following, has finally been appointed a proper release date, namely February 9th, 2016. That being said, gamers are in for a whole plethora of features that will make the free-running first-person zombie survival title addictive on a whole new level.
As delivered by PlayStation Lifestyle, a trait that Dying Light: The Following has which makes it utterly exciting would be the brand new map that is as big as the game's two previous maps combined, as fans would like to put such.
There will be new vehicles-one of which was seen in the announce trailer, and a new campaign that will bestow more than ten hours of gameplay. Simply enough, these will be given for free as part of the title's Season Pass, or players can opt to purchase it individually for only £15.99.
If that isn't enough, the most beloved and patient fans of the franchise are in for an Enhanced Edition that will be given a physical release which is comprised of the full original game, together with the Season Pass. All of these will be made available on the same date for only $59.99, however, a price label for the UK is still to be divulged in the near future, as per Video Gamer.
The parkour-oriented Dying Light: The Following had fans taking notes as to when and what the game will be bringing forth. February 9 may still be a number of months away, but many patrons of the open-world exploration franchise are already setting their sights firmly on the upcoming expansion without hesitation.
Techland's zombie survival series Dying Light will continue to have updates, in which some of the promised ones include the Nightmare difficulty setting, a Legend System, the Drink for DLC update and more.
