Game publisher EA Sports has just released the latest update for the roster ratings of "Madden NFL 16." Based on the company's post, the highlights of the recent update are Denver Broncos quarterback Brock Osweiler and Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson.
As detailed in the EA Sports website, Osweiler's overall rating or OVR jumped by two points following the Broncos' match against the formerly undefeated New England Patriots on November 29. Led by Osweiler, the Broncos managed to win against the Patriots with a final score of 30-24.
During the game, Osweiler completed 23 passes for 270 yards with one touchdown. His impressive performance immediately boosted his OVR with a +2. This brings up his current rating to 75.
As predicted by NFL.com, Osweiler's OVR will eventually go up since it seems the athlete is currently on a roll. During the Broncos' second game in the 2015 NFL Season, he successfully led the team against the Chicago Bears without any turnovers.
Peterson also delivered a great performance as the Vikings took on the Atlanta Falcons on November 30. Ending the game at 20-10, the Vikings emerged victorious, thanks to the star athlete's two touchdowns and total runs of 158 yards, Sports Illustrated reported. Like Osweiler, Peterson also earned a +2 for his OVR, which translates to a current rating of 94.
Aside from Peterson and Osweiler, other athletes also enjoyed a boost in their OVRs. Alex Smith of the Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions's Ezekiel Ansah both received a +1 boost in their respective OVRs while Indianapolis Colts quarterback Matt Hasselbeck got a +2.
On the other hand, DeMarco Murray of the Philadelphia Eagles and Davante Adams of the Green Bay Packers suffered a decrease in their OVRs by two points. Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo's OVR also went down by one point.
"Madden NFL 16," the latest installment in the "Madden NFL" game series, first debuted in August 25, 2016. The game is currently available for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4 consoles.
