Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps is one of the main focuses under Capcom's long-running Resident Evil franchise. Not much has been divulged regarding the said title, and fans have only seen peeps of what the said shooter brings to the table.
According to Yibada, many fans have built the hype over the corporations that caused havoc in the human world, and Umbrella is one of those memorable ones that gamers cannot ever set aside. After the many years that the adventure of Resident Evil has been about contradicting the plans of the evil powerhouse corporation, fans are now to venture another angle of the story, as they now work for the antagonistic firm that started the worldwide infection, in the form of Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps.
Recent reports noted that the orientation of the title lets players feel from the side of the operatives that work for the dreaded Umbrella Corp, as they are given a task to recover salvageable assets from what transpired from the last Resident Evil title, namely Resident Evil 6. In terms of the multiplayer aspect, gamers are to team up with a few other associates to take on other teams in search of Umbrella Corps' darkest secrets that are yet to be unraveled.
While in the talk of features, some of the most obvious inclusions to the franchise showcased melee weapons that come rather handy in close-quarters, whether against zombie forces or human threats. Admirably, gamers can take cover both in the traditional third-person view as well as a first-person angle-and with the use of a so-called Zombie Jammer to prevent getting damaged. Lastly, there is a One-Life Mode wherein gamers are not to respawn once killed, in a best of 5 match setting, as noted by Movie Pilot.
Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps is scheduled for launch early next year, or at least an estimate of it being such. Gamers are urged to be patient as the title is still being worked on, and with the possibility of a Resident Evil 6 being re-released, Capcom may have their hands full on all things R.E.
