New Sims 4 Expansion Pack - Explore Windenburg, Go Skinny Dipping and Party in Clubs!

By

In Sims 4, a new expansion pack was released, featuring a new club feature, a new city, new skills, new objects, and a lot more.

On December 8, 2015, the new Get Together expansion was released just in time for the holidays, with tons of additional content to add to your Sims needs. International Business Times reports that the new content includes Windenburg, a new European-themed area by the mountains, clubs for your Sim to hang out and possibly overthrow the Club Leader to take their place, The Von Haunt estate that functions as both a haunted mansion and a museum, ruins and even skinny dipping in community pools.

To accompany the release, a promotional trailer was also released on the same date, featuring the Sims of Windenburg singing in English, and showcasing the sights and sounds of Windenburg. The Sims still speak in Simlish in-game, but the theatrical antics in the trailer is bound to amuse.

Aside from that, a free Holiday Pack with Christmas-themed items and additional stuff was released, followed up by a patch that spice up the gameplay of the base game and to help accommodate Get Together. Some of the things updated in the patch include improved Sims interactions, some menu tweaks and general bug fixes, according to Vine Report.

The Sims 4 is the fourth installment of The Sims game series and is a simulator game where the player takes control of multiple Sims and try and get them through day-to-day life without too many mishaps, unless it's the player's goal. Get Together is the second expansion to The Sims 4, following Get To Work. The base game is required to play the expansion, of course, and is currently on sale in multiple sites to commemorate the release of the DLC. The Sims 4 is currently available for the PC, with a mobile game modeled after it with more limited functions called Sims Free to Play.
