Hollywood couple George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin is just one of the many celebrity pairs being hit with divorce rumors. But with Clooney's good friend's wife Cindy Crawford sharing a story of how she almost ended up sleeping in bed with the actor, the divorce rumors may have just taken up a notch.
Youth Health Magazine stated that Crawford revealed that before the "Ocean's Eleven" actor met Alamuddin, her husband Rande Gerber and Clooney had gone out on a Sunday night. She opted to stay home with her children instead but figured out that the boys had so much fun that night even just the two of them.
"Sometimes if Rande goes out late, he'll go into the guest room, because the kids will end up falling asleep with me in my room," Crawford said.
"I got up because I wanted to make sure he was home safe, and I went in the guest room and I see Rande facedown on the bed. And I'm like, 'Oh my God.' He still has his motorcycle boots on. And I'm like, 'Really?,'" she added.
Like any normal and good wife would do, Crawford expectedly got on the bed to help her drunk husband get his boots off, says Us Weekly. She further shared, "I get on the bed and I'm like, 'Hey, babe,' and he looks, and it wasn't Rande. It was George!"
The mother of Kaia and Presley said she didn't know who was more shocked, she or George. Upon discovering that it was not her husband she went over to the bed to, she ran out, found his real husband in their daughter's room, woke him up and asked "'Why is George in the guest room?"
According to Morning Ledger, had she not turned the lights on, she would have just immediately gotten into bed without knowing it was not her husband. With this, all eyes are on Clooney's wife, Alamuddin, on her response and feelings regarding the juicy tale. Apparently, Alamuddin and Crawford are reportedly not going along very well.
Neither George Clooney nor Amal Alamuddin has released any official statement or reaction regarding Cindy Crawford's story. Also, reports of them on the brink of a divorce still remain as rumors.
