"Elementary" Season 4 has returned to the small screen after a short break and according to reports, episode 5 showed Joan and Sherlock searching for clues regarding the case of a dead archaeologist. It has also been reported that Morland Holmes will become an irregular member of the cast.
Christian Post shared that the episode entitled "The Games Underfoot" showed the police tapping the duo to investigate the case of the archaeologist who turned up dead while being part of an excavation project. The project was at a local landfill.
Sherlock and Joan speculated that the man may have found something that he should not have discovered and due to this, other people got wind of his discovery and killed him so they can get what he had.
International Business Times also reported that "Elementary" Season 4 Episode 5 that the relationship of Sherlock with Alfredo has turned sour as the latter will find it difficult to trust the activities of the former. Sherlock has discovered something regarding Alfredo's honesty thus their relationship has hit a rough patch.
Meanwhile, Carter Matt shared that the next episode of "Elementary" season 4, which is the mid-season finale, will be eventful. The episode is entitled "The Cost of Doing Business" and in it, Morland Holmes will try to get more intimately involved with the investigations of Sherlock. In the official synopsis, it hints that Morland might not be a regular cast anymore.
The official synopsis for "Elementary" Season 4 Episode 6 reads: "Morland offers to act as one of his son's "Irregular" consultants so that he can lend Sherlock and Joan his considerable resources to help them solve a case."
"Elementary" Season 4 Episode 5 showed Joan and Sherlock working on a case together regarding a dead archaeologist. Episode 6 will reportedly show Morland becoming an irregular cast. The show airs Thursdays on CBS.
