In The Hunger Games' series of movies, it may have been Katniss and Peeta who have ended up together, but in real life, it looks like it's going to be something else. For a while now, the internet has been bustling with rumors and speculations on whether or not Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth are actually dating. While there has not yet been any confirmation or denial on either parties, there is no denying that the two have become very close friends over the years.
Fresh from her breakup with Coldplay singer, Chris Martin, Lawrence has been spotted with Hemsworth quite often. As a matter of fact, they were recently seen together at The Waverly Inn in New York City. It is, however, noteworthy to mention that their friend and "The Hunger Games" co-star, Josh Hutcherson, was also present in their group. Despite this, sources share that the Lawrence and Hemsworth were getting cozy and touchy the entire time.
But while there is no confirmation on whether or not they are really dating, the chemistry they have with each other is pretty obvious. It has been said that Lawrence's family strongly approves of Hemsworth, if ever they would end up together. Compared with her ex, Martin, her family did not like the idea that he came with baggage from a previous marriage with Gwyneth Paltrow. While Hemsworth was previously engaged with Miley Cyrus, he made it a point to spend much time with Lawrence. According to sources, this was a reason for the breakup between Martin and Lawrence.
For her part, Lawrence reiterated that she was still single and that she was not dating anyone-- not even Liam Hemsworth. On her recent interview with Vogue magazine, Lawrence divulges that most of her Saturday nights are lonely since she rarely gets asked out.
But if ever there is any truth to the rumors circulating the internet about her blossoming relationship with Hemsworth, a lot of their fans would be extremely happy for the couple. Plus, it did help that she has formed a strong bond with the actor. Perhaps this would make for a good start if ever they are both headed in that direction.
