Invis Energy raises Eur160 million for an Irish wind farm

Invis Energy, an independent power producer in Ireland, said it raised Eur160 million from two banks. Invis Energy would use the money to sustain its project on a 42.8 megawatt wind farm. The location of the wind farm was in Galway's Atlantic coast.

The project was financed by NorddeutscheLandesbank and DNB Bank. Invis Energy's enterprise was called Leitir Gungaid facilitity. By mid 2014, the facility would be expected to start working. The information came from HgCapital when it made a statement through an email. HgCapital, together with Craydel Group, owned Invis Energy. HgCapital was a private equity firm that specialized on purchasing out growing, medium-sized corporation across Europe. It invested in all the industries. Moreover, it owned a fund that focused in renewable energy.

"In addition to the 87 megawatts under construction, Invis Energy has a project pipeline of almost 300 megawatts of generation capacity, which is scheduled to be built over the next three years, and we have plans for further expansion beyond that," Michael Murnane of Invis Energy stated.
