Bregal Hires Two New Investment Professionals For Its Private Equity Fund And Co-Investment Business in New York And London

Bregal Private Equity Partners has announced today that Giselle Bright and have joined the firm with a focus on private equity funds and co-investments.

Giselle Bright will be based in Bregal's London office as an Investment Director where, in addition to private equity funds and co-investments, she will also have a focus on secondaries. Giselle was previously with PPM Managers in London as an Associate Director. Before that, she was with Deloitte LLP in London and Portugal until 2008.

Sarah Claypool joins Bregal in New York as a Senior Associate after having worked for HarbourVest Partners, LLC as an Associate in the Boston office. Before that, she was an Investment Banking Analyst in the Consumer & Retail Corporate Finance Group at Wachovia Securities.

Chuck Flynn, a Managing Director at Bregal, sees these additions as key to building Bregal's market strength. "We are excited to expand our global team to take advantage of the opportunities in the private equity market. Bregal has had a very active investment year in 2011 with commitments to firms that are well-suited to create strong returns in undoubtedly difficult markets ahead of us".
