Avalanche Studios has announced that it will release a patch for "Just Cause 3" next week. According to the company, the upcoming patch will resolve some of the issues experienced by players of the game including its slow loading times.
As detailed in the Just Cause website, patch 1.02 has a file size of 132.1MB and comes with a feature that will boost the loading times of the game. In addition, it will also fix general stability issues as well as the bug affecting the Challenge Mode. According to Avalanche Studios, the vehicles in this mode will no longer disappear through the patch.
Aside from the patch, the developer also detailed the solutions to some of the issues experienced by gamers of "Just Cause 3." One of these is the game's seemingly unskippable cutscenes. As explained by the studio, gamers can actually choose not to watch these scenes by holding the B button of their controllers.
Patch 1.02 first arrived in Europe for the PlayStation 4 version of the game on December 16. The other editions of the title will receive the patch within the next few days. As for US gamers, they can expect to see the content update sometime next week.
According to Games Radar, Avalanche Studio is also planning on releasing other patches for the game in the future. Although the studio did not specify the nature of these updates, the site noted that these will be designed to improve the overall quality of the game.
"Just Cause 3" officially came out on December 1, 2015 and is currently available for the Microsoft Windows, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 platforms. It is the latest open-world title released by Avalanche Studios.
As noted by Gamespot, the game is so big that YouTube user TheyCallMeConnor said that walking across the entire map of "Just Cause 3" took him more than eight hours. To show just how big the game's map is, the gaming news site noted it took TheyCallMeConnor only six hours to trek through the worlds of seven "Grand Theft Auto" titles.
