Linsalata Capital Partners, a Mayfield Heights private equity firm, sold The Tranzonic Cos. to a private equity firm in Illinois. Illinois-based Silver Oak Services Partners wants to cultivate Tranzonic's growth through their acquisition. The financial details of the transaction between Linsalata Capital Partners and Silver Oak Services Partners, however, were not revealed.
The Tranzonic Cos. is a Richmond Heights-based supplier of sanitation and janitorial products, including a variety of disposable safety, maintenance, and cleaning products. The Tranzonic Cos. has distribution facilities in Nevada, Tennessee, and Miami.
Linsalata Capital Partners had managed the firm for more than a decade, according to Linsalata Capital senior managing director, Stephen Perry. Ken Vuylsteke, current CEO of Tranzonic, will maintain his position in the company.
"This transaction enables Tranzonic to move forward on the next phase of the company's development with a value-added partner and the capital resources necessary to grow our company through both organic investments in sales and marketing and product development as well as through add-on acquisitions," Mr. Vuylsteke said.
