Investor AB, a Swedish investment firm, had now officialy reported that it was amenable to a divestment or at least, a listing of its debt collector unit, Lindorff. Lindorff has services that range from invoicing to credit checks and debt collection.
Investor AB jointly own Lindorff along with private equity firm, Altor. Investor AB's initial Lindorff investment was made in 2008. Today, Investor AB has a majority stake in Lindorff.
Altor, since last month, said that it wished to list Lindorff sometime in 2014. Investor AB is now open to that idea."Strategic options remain hypothetical at this stage but include that Lindorff becomes a listed or unlisted core investment or divested," Investor explained in its quarterly financial report.
Chief Executive of Investor AB, Borje Ekholm, said that at this stage any exit strategy being placed on the table is still hypothetical and that they would not speculate about timing.
