Prospera Financial Services announced the acquisition of TCA Financial Group, LLC. TCA was founded in 2004 and has been attached to several professionals and financial advisers. The firm is a full service broker and dealer that handle relationships between clients and financial advisors. Prospera acquired TCA for a number of reasons, namely: for the similar culture that both company has, for the quality, expertise and size of advisors at TCA and for the core business types that the advisors give attention to, as well as the alignment of the company core values.
Jason Craig, Managing Partner at TCA, commented, "Our conversion to Prospera gives us the ability to run our businesses and retain our autonomy, while relieving ourselves of the challenges and costs of running a broker-dealer."
The acquisition of Prospera allows the company to continuously increase their business in the mid-Atlantic region.
Tim Edwards, Principal & Executive VP for Prospera Financial, said, "Prospera is excited for the opportunity to align with a well-respected, top-notch firm such as TCA Financial. We believe they are a good fit and our synergies will allow us to help them grow their business."
