Royal couple awaits the birth of the heir to the English throne

Britain's Prince William and his wife Kate, were currently waiting for the birth of their first born. The prince was now on official leave to be with the Duchess of Cambridge.

Some people were convinced that the royal due date already passed. British reporters anticipated that the heir to the English throne was to be born last week. The Buckingham Palace did not give an exact date although it said it might be in "mid-July."

"The baby will come when he or she is ready," Britain's Royal College of Midwives' midwife and professional policy adviser, Janet Fyle, said. She stated that the due date was estimated from the initial day of the woman's last period. After that, nine months and seven days were supposed to be added. "But nature is the primary determinant (of the due date) and we can't do anything to change that."

The Royal couple created a million-pound renovation plan for the baby's home. The royal finances annual report announced that the Queen's expenses increased by GBP900,000 from GBP32.4 million.

The baby fever was expected to boost Britain's economy by GBP240 million. This was after the British family's venture to join the retailers in providing baby products.
