The Big Bang Theory covers Comic Con 2013

The Big Bang Theory was at center stage at Comic Con International last Friday held in San Diego. It was not about the popular television show from CBS but a video appearance by Stephen Hawking, the world renowned physicist and author.

The taped segement saw Hawking said 'hello' to the attendees of the convention. He guested in the hit geek television show last year and he referenced it by saying, "When I'm not playing Words with Friends with Sheldon, I like to think about the universe. Many people find the universe confusing.It's not."

He then discussed the big bang theory in just seventeen words, by reciting the television shows them song, which was performed by the Barenaked Ladies from his home in Cambridge, England.

This served as the introduction to the show, "The Big Bang Theory". The executive producers and writers answered questions as to the ideas and processes behind the show. One of the show's stars, Johnny Galecki, said, "I know everyone says they have the best fans in the world, but they're misleading you, because this show has the best fans in the world."

In its last show in Season 6, the show was watched by 15.48 million individuals, topping other shows in its time slot.
