RealMatch announced that it had raised US$7 million in its latest venture capital financing. The Series C financing was led by Edison Ventures with involvement by RealMatch's existing investor, Carmel Ventures. Edison Ventures invested US$6 million in the firm. The latest round of investments will enhance RealMatch's goal to help make online recruitment advertising a distinct and lucrative way for online publishers. RealMatch wants an efficient system for employers and a simplified process for job seekers.
RealMatch is trying to disrupt the online recruitment industry by building the biggest recruitment advertising community. The community, they say, now extends to more than 100 million job seekers across job sites and social networking websites.
"RealMatch's potential in the online recruitment advertising industry is almost limitless. Our job matching and network optimization technologies are representative of the next technological revolution in the online recruitment space. This round of funding will help us as we accelerate our market leadership," RealMatch CEO and founder, Gal Almog, explained.
