"Toni is resting at home and she is fine."
This is the statement Tony Braxton's representative said in a statement after the singer brought out in the media that she was hospitalized due to Lupus flare out on Monday.
In Braxton's 2014 memoir entitled Unbreak My Heart: A Memoir, she wrote at length about her lupus diagnosis. In addition to her sharing that her uncle had died from the disease.
As of press time, Toni Braxton is recovering after a health scare landed her in a Los Angeles hospital for four days. Thankfully the problems were not life-threatening pushing the singer to be out and be discharged from the hospital facility.
"Toni is resting at home and she is fine. She was in an L.A. hospital for a few days being treated for her lupus. She has been released and starts rehearsals for her upcoming tour this week. She was not in serious condition, though lupus is a serious disease and must be monitored at all times." Braxton's representative furthered.
According to TMZ, Braxton's boyfriend Birdman flew all the way from Texas to be by her side. Braxton first went public about her struggle with the auto-immune disease in 2010 during an interview with CBS News. Two years earlier she canceled a string of dates after being hospitalized for chest pains.

Behind these reports, she confirmed in a statement to E! News that she plans to get back on the road for her October 12 show in Detroit.
'I am so excited about going back on the road and seeing all of my wonderful fans and friends,' the singer positively said.
