The Sony A6300 vs the new A6500

By

Sony announced its new released A6500 camera. It is a follow up to the A6300 camera which was released last February and 2014'2 A6000---one of the most popular interchangeable camera ever. The new camera has a lot in common with the A6300, but Sony promises that this new camera is a lot more faster and high specs than the A6300.

When Sony announced the A6300 prosumer mirror less camera in March, it delivered to more boost on autofocus performance with the company's Fast Hybrid AF system.

The A6500 rectifies the mistake of the first A6300 plus incorporates new processor, which Sony says provides much more responsive shooting and playback experience and of course a bigger memory buffer to increase the number of shots during shooting.

About the battery life? Well, that's got worse, dropping to a 310 shots via viewfinder and 350 shots via LCD. In the A6300 those are 350 via viewfinder and 400 via LCD, respectively.

The A6500 has a feature that is absent in the A6300 camera--- an touchscreen LCD. But aside from this, the internal features are likely the same. The A6500 camera also has a 24.2 megapixel APS-C sensor, the same 425 detection autofocus points, the same absurd 100-512009 ISO range and 4K video recording. Sony also said that they will also focus on just locking on the subject in just 0.05 seconds. It can shoot 11 frames per second with a buffer of 307 shots.

Another big change in the A6500 camera is that it has a 5-axis image stabilization-a first, Sony says, for the company's line of APS-C sensor cameras. Sony boasting about the A6500 having 5-axis stabilization is a good sign for people who wants to shoot steady video.

The A6500 will ship on November and will cost about $1400 according to Sony. Considering how beloved the A6000 was, and how quickly photographers and videographers took to the A6300.
