Nick Gordon Found Illegally Responsible For Bobbi Kristina Brown's Death

Due to failure to respond and attend to court's notice to appear, Nick Gordon has been found legally responsible for the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown, reports confirms from a judge order, Friday.

In 2015, Brown's estate filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the defendant in August 2015. Facts of the case revealed that the late daughter of Whitney Houston died caused by a violent altercation with Gordon after which he placed her in a bathtub, unconscious, and injected her with a toxic mixture.

"We have said all along that we believed Nick Gordon was responsible for the death of Bobbi Kristina Brown. This judgment confirms our belief. Mr. Gordon had every opportunity to appear in Court and attempt to clear his name. He declined," said Brown's legal counsel.

The $10 million suit also said that Gordon committed domestic abuse and made unauthorized money transfers amounting to $11,000 from his girlfriend's bank account into his own during her subsequent hospitalization.

"He's not doing well at all. He is low energy, just really unhappy. He knew that it was a big deal for him to appear in court, but he just couldn't do it. So he skipped it and the judgement was entered against him. He's just in a dark place." said Gordon's representative.

After failing to show up for two hearings set by the court, Nick Gordon was found legally responsible "by default" for Brown's death and likewise held in contempt.

The source close to Gordon furthered said that he is not worried about the money.

"He doesn't have that type of cash, so you can't get blood from a stone. But it bothers him that there's this perception that he is responsible for her death, because he's not. He feels like everyone has made him a scapegoat, and it's not fair," Gordon's representative ended.
