"She's in Reno. Doing what she believes in. Which is great. Think it's awesome. And I'm so impressed by it - her and everything she does. She's a great mom and that's how it is." Ben Affleck said when asked about ex Jennifer Garner.
The 44-year-old actor and father of three told EXTRA at the red carpet premiere of his new film The Accountant on Monday that his estranged wife has been stumping for Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in Nevada, and he couldn't be more impressed.
While on the subject of the mother of his children, Affleck said the two try their "best" to make co-parenting work. They're also planning on celebrating Halloween together with their children.
It was remembered when couple announced they were divorcing after 10 years of marriage in June of 2015. Despite their split, the pair has remained amicable and has continued with co-parenting their kids, Violet, 10, Seraphina, 7, and Samuel, 4.
"We both take them trick or treating," he said, adding that his kids aren't quite sure what they'll dress up as. "They're still working on it. They haven't decided on a character. I'm not gonna dress up this year. I'm gonna go as Dad."
As for Jennifer Garner, she is just doing her part to keep the family together. She recently took all the children to Europe to visit their father while he was filming Justice League. She was recently on the Today show and said: "I felt like, 'Well the kids should have that experience,' and he and I are great friends and we just, we just all went en masse."
However, for the last week and a half, a lot of rumors about Ben Affleck and his alleged relationship with his former nanny, Christine Ouzounian. Moreover, Affleck maintains that they had a professional relationship and nothing more, but she seems to be telling a very different story.
