According to TIME, Zuckerberg is set to get even wealthier as Meta, the parent company of Facebook, of which the tech billionaire co-founded and serves as the CEO, have far exceeded Wall Street's expectations with its newly-released fourth-quarter earnings report.

Forbes estimated that Mark Zuckerberg's net worth increased by $29 billion on Friday alone due to the company's shares soaring up about 20%. Because of this, the Meta CEO is now worth $167.2 billion, the richest he's ever been, based on Forbes' billionaires list.
According to Fortune, Zuckerberg will surpass Microsoft co-founder and philanthropist Bill Gates's fortune and will move into the fourth spot on Bloomberg's billionaires list.
Bloomberg's real-time list shows that Zuckerberg has a net worth of $142 billion. However, the outlet has yet to update it following the earnings report. Last month, Forbes estimated his net worth to be about $139 billion.
Mark Zuckerberg's Fortune
Mark Zuckerberg's wealth dropped below $35 billion in late 2022 as tech stocks collapsed due to inflation and interest rate hikes but soared back in 2023.
Zuckerberg is now expected to receive an annual payout of approximately $700 million from the social media giant's first-ever dividend for investors. On Thursday, Meta announced a quarterly cash dividend of 50 cents a share for Class A and B common stock beginning in March.
With Zuckerberg holding roughly 350 million shares, he would receive around $175 million in every quarterly payment before taxes, according to data compiled by Bloomberg.
In 2022, the Meta CEO took home a total compensation of $27.1 million. According to filings, it included a base salary of $1 and private security costs. Meta has yet to report any executive compensation for 2023.
