Customers Turn to Social Media to Report Outages
Reportedly, calls are going directly to voicemail instead.
One customer wrote on X: "Looks like no one in [Australia] can make or receive calls to and from Vodafone ... I can call from my phone to other carriers."
Another X user tweeted: "Calls to Vodafone mobiles aren't working. Aren't able to dial out or receive."
In response to one social media post, Vodafone acknowledged the current interruptions to voice calls. "Our technical teams are working to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience."
According to 7NEWS, Vodafone assured that all mobile services are operational as usual. These include text messages, data services, and Triple Zero calls.
