In a fusion of traditional beauty pageantry and cutting-edge AI technology, the world's first AI beauty pageant is set to make waves with its unconventional lineup of contestants competing for the title of "Miss AI."
According to Daily Mail, the beauty pageant will feature AI influencers and models instead of actual human women vying to claim their share of a $20,000 prize pool.
Miss AI: The World's First AI Beauty Pageant
The beauty pageant is the first of its kind, and contestants will be judged on beauty, social media clout, and their creator's skill in using AI tools. Miss AI is a project developed by the World AI Creator Awards (WAICA) and its partner, Fanvue, a subscription-based platform that hosts AI models.
According to the Sun, Fanvue CEO and co-founder William Monange said Miss AI "recognizes talent and tech, which will help to raise standards within the industry." He added that they share the vision for the WAICA "to become the Oscars of the AI creator economy."

How to Join the World's First AI Beauty Pageant
To participate in the Miss AI pageant, which opened on Sunday, competitors must submit an AI-generated image of a woman and answer a list of questions.
The creator must also be at least 18 years old and should be behind an AI-generated model that has a presence on social media. AI influencers should submit their profiles on WAICA's website.
The AI contestants will be trimmed to a top 10 before the final three are announced at an online awards ceremony on May 10. Fanvue said it expects to receive thousands of participants.
Interestingly, the Miss AI panel of judges also includes two AI-generated women. They are "AI creators" Aitana Lopez and Emily Pellegrini, who have garnered millions of followers and even brand deals.
Two human judges, Sally Ann Fawcett, Britain's leading pageantry historian, and marketing guru Andrew Bloch, will join them on the panel.
The judges will determine a first, second, and third-place Miss AI winner. These winners will receive prizes worth more than $20,000, including a cash prize of $5,000. They will also receive AI mentoring programs, public relations support, and more.
