Jack Dorsey has voiced his support for the pro-Palestine protesters. This was after the protesters made headlines by occupying a building at Columbia University.

In a series of posts on X, the social media platform he co-founded and which has since been rebranded, Dorsey criticized law enforcement's response to the protesters, many of whom were arrested after being forcefully removed from the building.

The Twitter co-founder and former CEO's remarks come amid ongoing tensions surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, with demonstrators at Columbia University calling attention to issues related to the conflict.

On the contrary, Elon Musk, the current owner of Twitter or X, has backed Israeli causes. In a report from VCPost, Musk took down several accounts calling for the liberation of Palestine.

Replies To Jack Dorsey's Support

However, according to NYPost, the tech mogul's comments have sparked debate online, with some expressing support for his stance while others have criticized it.

Dorsey's involvement in political and social issues is not new, as he has previously voiced support for various causes and candidates.

As of now, there has been no official response from Dorsey or X regarding the controversy.

It's also worth noting that X does not officially endorse or support any specific political or social causes and has only implemented community guidelines and policies to regulate content.
