Elon Musk asked JK Rowling stop sharing her opinions on transgenderism on X.
"While I heartily agree with your points regarding sex/gender, may I suggest also posting interesting and positive content on other matters?," Musk said on X, formerly Twitter.
According to NY Post, Elon Musk has suggested that the celebrity should explore different subjects for discussion.
Musk's request is quite confusing, especially considering the multi-billionaire's track record of controversial tweets regarding transgender matters.
In July 2020, the Tesla CEO made an infamous tweet expressing his dislike for pronouns. Later that year, he reiterated his stance by stating his support for the transgender community while expressing his opinion on the visual aspect of pronouns.
Last year, the controversial figure caused a stir by stating that the terms "cis" and "cisgender" - which are used by transgender activists to describe non-transgender individuals - were deemed offensive on the platform.
Musk's suggestion to the 'Harry Potter' creator has garnered over 1.5 million views and received a predominantly negative response.

Meanwhile, JK Rowling has faced backlash in recent years for expressing controversial views and questioning laws related to the transgender community. This has resulted in criticism from the actors involved in the Harry Potter franchise.
Daniel Radcliffe, known for his iconic role as the boy wizard in the popular movies, has once again expressed his unwavering support for the LGBTQ+ community.
He also took the opportunity to address recent comments made by JK Rowling concerning him and his co-star Emma Watson.
Rowling has faced criticism for not fully considering the impact of her views and actions on the transgender community, according to Mirror.
Supporters of the celebrity will observe that she frequently shares her thoughts on women's rights and transgender issues.
