The European Union is currently exploring potential measures to limit financial support from Russia to address concerns surrounding political parties, think tanks, and other organizations.
These measures are being discussed as part of the EU's efforts to respond to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.
Banning Russian Helium, Tightening Export Rules
According to an anonymous sources, there are discussions about implementing certain measures.
These measures involve prohibiting the import of Russian helium, imposing stricter export restrictions on manganese ore and other rare-earth components, and denying port access to approximately 11 shipping vessels that are believed to be assisting Russia's war effort.
According to Bloomberg, the proposal, which would also prohibit four more media outlets from broadcasting in Europe, requires unanimous agreement from the bloc's 27 member states to take effect and may still undergo modifications.
Previous packages have involved lengthy periods of behind-the-scenes discussions.
On Sunday, European Commission Vice President Vera Jourova announced that the EU plans to impose sanctions on several websites, including Voice of Europe, Rossiiskaja Gazeta, Ria Novosti, as well as Izvestia.
These websites have been accused of spreading pro-Russian disinformation.

Europe: Russia's Escalating Sabotage Efforts
Meanwhile, several European governments have recently obtained intelligence indicating that Russia is intensifying its sabotage efforts in a more assertive and coordinated manner.
Renowned for its extensive espionage capabilities, Russia has been implicated in supporting or directly engaging in anti-European incidents that have endangered the lives of numerous individuals, including high-ranking politicians.
DailyMail reported that Germany has been significantly impacted by Russia's espionage activities.
Last month, two individuals of German and Russian descent were apprehended in Bavaria for their alleged involvement in a plot to carry out destructive acts targeting military and logistics facilities throughout Germany.
