Trump Campaign Threatens to Sue 'The Apprentice' Movie Makers
Sebastian Stan takes on the role of Trump in 'The Apprentice' as a younger man, while Jeremy Strong, known for his role in 'Succession', portrays Trump's fixer Roy Cohn. The film made its debut at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival on Monday evening.
"We will be filing a lawsuit to address the blatantly false assertions from these pretend filmmakers," Steven Cheung, the chief spokesperson for the Trump campaign, told Variety.
The film, helmed by Ali Abbasi, showcases Sebastian Stan's portrayal of a young and ambitious character as he navigates the corporate landscape.
According to reports, the biopic includes a range of scenes that portray Donald Trump in an adverse perspective, showing him engaging in drug use and undergoing cosmetic surgery.

Others are also expressing their dissatisfaction with the film's content, not just the Trump campaign.
According to reports, Dan Snyder, the previous owner of the Washington Commanders, invested in a film through the company Kinematics. However, he later expressed concerns about how the film portrayed Trump, his personal associate, and has received campaign donations from him.
The plot revolves around his interactions with his former spouse, Ivana Trump, and the attorney and confidant Roy Cohn, portrayed by Jeremy Strong from Succession.
