Diddy's assault controversy is now taking a toll on the American rapper. This is because fitness firm Peloton announced that it will remove Sean "Diddy" Combs's music from all its programs.
Peloton Removes Diddy's Music
Diddy, also known as P. Diddy, is facing criticism because of a trending video, which shows the record executive and producer being physically violent with another person, as reported by Time Magazine.
The individual that he was attacking was his ex-girlfriend Cassie (real name: Casandra Ventura). Based on the footage, the incident happened at a Los Angeles hotel.
The video showed the rapper kicking his then-girlfriend while the woman was approaching the elevator. The footage just trended this May, but the original date of the video is March 2016.
Peloton Listens to People's Plea to Ban Diddy's Music
According to TMZ's latest report, Peloton's decision was announced after some women urged the fitness firm to purge all of Diddy's music classes.
"We take this issue very seriously and can confirm Peloton has paused the use of Sean Combs' music, as well as removed the Bad Boy Entertainment Artist Series, on our platform," announced Peloton.
The fitness company confirmed that their instructors will no longer use Diddy's music in newly produced classes. Peloton thanked those who shared their concerns regarding the rapper's controversial assault.
P. Diddy already apologized for what he did back then, saying that assaulting his ex-girlfriend was inexcusable behavior. The rapper added that he was disgusted with what he did and is still now.
