Argentinian President Javier Milei is scheduled to meet several top-level Silicon Valley executives in the United States this week.

Presidential spokesman Manuel Adorni told Reuters Monday (May 27) that Milei would begin his US trip in San Francisco, where he would be set to meet with the CEOs of Meta (Mark Zuckerberg), Google (Sundar Pichai), Apple (Tim Cook), and OpenAI (Sam Altman).

VCPost reported last month that Milei met with Tesla founder Elon Musk to discuss how to collaborate to promote free markets in Argentina, the US, and the rest of the world.

In his previous US trips, Milei received a decoration from an orthodox Jewish community and met with former US President Donald Trump.

Agence France Presse further reported that the trip would be Milei's seventh since December and would come during the week when the Argentine Senate debated his budget reforms and liberalized economic reform package.

His most recent trip to Spain unleashed a major diplomatic row after he called the wife of Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez "corrupt" at a gathering of far-right leaders in Madrid.

Milei is also scheduled to meet George W. Bush administration Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, currently the chancellor of Stanford University. Additionally, he will present at the Bay Area Council's Pacific Summit and Stanford's Hoover Institution, a think tank run by Rice that advocates for limited government.

He is also scheduled to meet with economists, investors, and entrepreneurs related to artificial intelligence (AI).

Before returning to Argentina on Friday (May 31), Milei will stop over in El Salvador to attend the inauguration of President Nayib Bukele's second term after winning a landslide re-election in February.

Milei is set to travel again to Spain next month to receive an award from a liberal think tank before attending a G7 meeting in Italy and a peace summit convened by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy in Switzerland.
