A new record for the highest amount paid for a Michael Jordan basketball card has been set.

First Michael Jordan Logoman Card Featuring Bulls Jersey Sells for Millions

An autographed Jordan Logoman card from the 2003-04 Upper Deck Ultimate Collection was recently sold for $2.928 million at the renowned collectibles marketplace Goldin.

According to Dan Hajducky of ESPN, the card was uniquely numbered 1 of 1. Logoman cards showcase the iconic NBA logo patch carefully cut from jerseys in actual games.

These highly sought-after cards are typically produced in extremely limited quantities, making them incredibly rare and valuable.

Hajducky reported that the card sold on Saturday is the first Jordan Logoman to showcase a Chicago Bulls jersey.

In addition, it was awarded an "Authentic" grade and a flawless 10 on-card autograph by PSA, the card grader, Bleacher Report reported.

Ken Goldin, the CEO and founder of Goldin, emphasized the importance of the card, which was not up for public auction until Saturday. Hajducky mentioned that the card was not publicly discovered until 2022.

Another item auctioned off at Goldin on Saturday night was a game-worn jersey worn by Kobe Bryant during the Los Angeles Lakers 80th game of the 2013 season.

According to ESPN via MSN, this particular game was a thrilling 118-116 victory over the Golden State Warriors on April 12, during which Bryant showcased his skills and scored an impressive 34 points.

During the game, Bryant suffered a devastating Achilles injury but showed incredible determination by staying in the game to make two free throws.

The jersey fetched an impressive price of $1.2 million, which includes the buyer's premium.
