Fourier transform makes the investment together with the current owners, CEO Goran Bredinger and Vice President Håkan Johannesson. Following the transaction, Fouriertransform will have an ownership of 49 per cent.

CeDe has over a long period built up an unique development and production expertise within heavy machinery, which has made them a well-renowned partner to customers such as Volvo Construction Equipment and Atlas Copco. The market trend, with increasingly complex products and demands for greater utilization of mechanical equipment, indicates a higher degree of variations and customizations which requires skilled providers like CeDe says Per Nordberg, CEO Fouriertransform.

CeDe is a supplier with a broad knowledge of applications, mechanics, hydraulics and electronics, with deep expertise and capacity in production. Through this expertise and high quality production, the company has developed into a leading supplier of customization of heavy machines. CeDe has been selected as an approved provider of specialized machines based on Volvo CE standard machines on 32 markets across Europe. The company has 65 employees today and turnover amounted to SEK 128 million during 2010/2011. The company has since 2005 had an annual growth of 35 percent. Through the change in ownership, the company is given a greater opportunity to further develop its offering and to continue its expansion both geographically and product wise.

The company is facing an expansion through new customer contracts and it is very gratifying that Fourier transform with its broad network becomes major shareholder. With a stable ownership structure, with a long term perspective and industrial know-who that will give CeDe Group the possibility to invest more in a geographical and product wise expansion for the benefit of customers and employees, says Göran Bredinger, Managing Director of CeDe Group AB.

Fouriertransform is a state-owned venture capital company with a task to, on a commercial basis, strengthens the international competitiveness of the Swedish automotive cluster. The company has a total investment framework of SEK 3 billion and, in addition to providing capital, its well-qualified employees and network of experts contributes their own expertise. Fouriertransform has invested in 16 companies since the 2009.

CeDe Group designs, develops and produces special machines for the mining and construction markets. The company was founded in 1923, has 128 million in turnover and 65 employees in Malmö. CeDe is a growth company and is a preferred supplier to Atlas Copco and has signed a Partnership Agreement with Volvo Construction Equipment AB.
