A businessman from Ghana was discovered dead at his hotel in Seoul on Tuesday morning. He was in South Korea to attend an event related to the Korea-Africa Summit. 

What Caused the Death of Ghana Businessman in South Korea?

According to The Korea Times, the man in his 50s, was in the city for a business event linked to the Korea-Africa Summit. However, police said he was found dead at the hotel in the southern district of Gangnam.

Authorities noted that there was no signs of foul play and suggested that the man may have died from natural causes. The man was identified as a company official from Ghana who visited Seoul to attend a business counseling event happening on the sidelines of the Korea-Africa Summit.

The two-day summit, which kicked off Tuesday, focused on expanding and strengthening economic ties and cooperation between South Korea and African nations. It was attended by delegations from 48 African countries, including 25 heads of state.
