Starbucks will partner with Grubhub to provide home delivery of its coffee and beverages in select US areas starting this month. This initiative aims to meet the rising demand for convenience as more customers choose to enjoy their drinks at home.
Starbucks Teams Up With Grubhub
The delivery service will initially be available in Pennsylvania, Colorado, and Illinois, with plans to expand nationwide by August. Starbucks will offer its full menu, including seasonal items, through the Grubhub platform.
Customers can personalize their orders just as they would in-store, with options to select the type of milk, number of espresso shots, and flavors.

Starbucks Home Delivery Demand
Grubhub users can track their orders via the app from preparation to delivery. Members of Grubhub+, the platform's subscription service, will benefit from zero delivery fees on eligible orders, lower service fees, and special offers.
Non-members will still have access to the full Starbucks menu on the app but will incur standard delivery charges.
"Customer demand to get Starbucks delivered continues to increase, as evidenced by double-digit growth in the U.S. delivery business this past quarter, indicating that our customers continue to want convenience in their everyday lives," Meg Mathes, vice president of digital experiences at Starbucks, said in a press statement.
"Our new partnership with Grubhub will help fuel this growth by increasing availability of Starbucks products to Grubhub's tens of millions of customers via a leading delivery provider," she added.
