Elon Musk Reveals Donald Trump Is a Huge Fan of Tesla Cybertruck

According to the Times of India, Elon Musk revealed that Donald Trump frequently calls him "out of the blue for no reason." The billionaire also recalled sharing with the former president how enthusiastic he was about EVs' future and that "America's the leader in electric cars."

Musk noted that many of Trump's friends now own Teslas and love them and that Trump is "a huge fan" of the futuristic Cyber Truck. That occurred during an extensive Q&A session at Tesla's meeting, where Musk addressed various questions about safety and health precautions for the betterment of himself and the firm.

Elon Musk on the EV Stand of Donald Trump

With this latest admission by the tech billionaire, Elon Musk and Donald Trump seem to have a growing alliance, signaling a thaw in their once-frosty relationship.

Last month, citing several sources, The Wall Street Journal reported that Trump is considering Musk for a possible advisory role in the White House if the former president wins another term.

The former president previously admitted that he and Musk had opposing views on EVs. Trump opposes increasing EV production and supports tariffs against foreign EV manufacturing.

The former president said that EVs would not work and would harm the US auto industry as it would lead to many job losses. Trump further noted that he would abolish President Joe Biden's policies on EV sales. However, Musk is now suggesting that Trump's perspective on EVs has changed.

He noted that Trump now sees a strong future for EVs and thinks many people will want to buy electric cars. At Tesla's annual shareholder meeting on Thursday, shareholders voted to reinstate Musk's $56 billion pay package that a Delaware judge had voided and changed the automaker's state of incorporation from Delaware to Texas.
