Elon Musk has made a unique request to Disney to bring back Disney+ to Tesla vehicles if Disney resumes advertising on his social media platform, X (formerly Twitter).

The unusual proposal has sparked a spirited discussion about corporations' influence and extremely wealthy individuals' actions.

Elon Musk's Disney+ Proposal

The tweet rapidly gained widespread attention, accumulating millions of likes and eliciting a range of bewildered and entertained reactions. It's uncertain whether Musk was genuine or just playfully teasing, but his followers were amused.

Many Tesla owners were disappointed when Disney+ suddenly vanished from their in-car entertainment systems earlier this year.

The streaming service was highly popular among Tesla drivers, particularly parents looking to keep their kids entertained on long drives. It offered a wide selection of beloved movies and TV shows.

Earlier this year, Disney withdrew its advertising from X due to the controversies surrounding the platform's content moderation policies. The decision aligned with a larger movement among prominent companies reevaluating their advertising approaches on social media platforms that are seen as unstable or poorly managed.

Disney has not yet publicly responded to Musk's proposition, but industry analysts have differing opinions on whether the entertainment giant will accept the offer.

According to The Folly Times, the reinstatement of Disney+ in Tesla vehicles could have positive implications for both companies. It could increase subscriptions and satisfy Tesla owners.

However, giving in to Musk's requests could establish a pattern that Disney might want to avoid.

Elon Musk Threatens Legal Action Against Major Companies

Moreover, Elon Musk expressed his intention to take legal action on Thursday, July 11, against an alliance comprising major corporations, citing an alleged "advertising boycott racket" contributing to a decline in revenue at his social media platform X.

Musk made a bold claim in a recent response to a video of Ben Shapiro's Congressional testimony on alleged advertiser collusion against right-leaning platforms.

Musk said on X, "Having seen the evidence unearthed today by Congress, X has no choice but to file suit against the perpetrators and collaborators in the advertising boycott racket."
