Enhanced Equity Funds hires Bryan Gibson to lead FirstMed EMS

Enhanced Equity Funds announced today that it had signed into a relationship with Bryan Gibson. Bryan Gibson had been appointed as chief executive officer of FirstMed EMS, LLC. Enhanced Equity Funds is a healthcare services private equity firm.

FirstMed, the firms said, is a platform for sustained growth in the ambulance market. FirstMed currently performs over half a million medical transports in the Southern, Mid-Atlantic, and Midwest regions of the US. FirstMed is headquartered in Wilmington, North Carolina.

Mr. Gibson had established substantial experience within the ambulance and emergency medical response sector throughout his notable 25 year career. He was with Rural/Metro Corporation for no less than 14 years. With Rural/Metro, he rose to the position of chief operating officer. He joined the company in 1997 when Rural/Metro bought out a company that he co-founded, Priority Emergency Medical Services.
