Kamala Harris announces new policies to support the male Black community of the US, increasing access to opportunities.

Recently, both Harris and former US President, Obama, have worried about whether Black men will vote in the upcoming presidential elections this November 5. This time, the current US Vice President will ensure that they will sway voters from the group.

According to Reuters, Harris' new proposal includes providing forgivable 1 million business loans worth $20,000, especially for entrepreneurs in underserved communities, increased access to a legal recreational marijuana industry, and other areas that will allow them to be a key focus of her campaign.

While more of Trump's agenda earlier this year, per VCPost, Harris also plans to improve access to the cryptocurrency industry for Black Americans. More importantly, she also included a national health initiative that addresses health issues like sickle cell disease, which affects the Black community.

Kamala Harris' Agenda for Black Men and Men of America

However, while it appears that these policies will help the Black community, CNN shared that the Democratic presidential representative also highlighted how her economic policies can benefit all American men.

Including Black Americans in her campaign is crucial after concerns about her weak support from the group spiked. But the CNN report noted that experts stated that this group should not take the blame for Harris' campaign issues.

Last week, NPR reported that an NAACP poll found over a quarter of young Black men planning to support Donald Trump in the Presidential election, which could be a problem since Biden received 80% in 2020.

Harris will be discussing these new economic plans for Black men during her visit to Pennsylvania this Monday.
