Musk's $70M GOP Donations Under Fire as Biden Claims Visa Violations for Alleged Illegal Work in US

Reports and emails further confirm that Musk acknowledged he lacked authorization to work in the US.

Elon Musk's support to Trump's immigration policies receive flak from current US President, Joe Biden.

During a campaign stop in Pittsburgh, Biden tells Kamala's supporters how the Tesla CEO's stance on immigration is hypocrite considering his alleged visa violations.

Per AP News, Musk allegedly worked in the US without proper authorization while on a student visa and not attending the school as required. Arriving in California in 1995 to attend Stanford, Musk never enrolled and instead, chose to work on a startup instead. This report, based on company documents and court records, classify Musk's early work in the US as "unathorized."

However, Musk has since denied these allegations and said he gained permission to work at the time.

Musk on Biden's Claim of Visa Violations

Musk defended himself on X, with a post saying that he was allowed to work in the US legally. But reports from The Washington Post noted that investors in Musk's early company, Zip2, were worried he might be deported and pressured him to secure a work visa. There was also a 2005 email from Musk, telling his Tesla co-founders that he lack proper authorization when he first launched Zip2.

At the same time Biden revealed Musk's potential illegal VISA status with his first business venture, Harris has continued her Philadelphia campaign.

Meanwhile, Musk continued his frequent support to GOP and have contributed over $70 million this seas so far. Trump, in turn, suggested that Musk will have a major role in his administration if he wins.

Donald Trump has yet to comment on Biden's revelation about Musk's working status while building his first company, considering his stance on immigration policies and racially-charged comments at Haitians during the first debate.
